Little Fibs

Terms and conditions

Last updated: 15 September 2026 · UK

These terms apply when you download, install, or use Little Fibs (“the app”), published by LukeDev.co.uk (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Our privacy policy explains how data is handled on your device.

What Little Fibs is

Little Fibs is a personal, on-device notebook for keeping small social fibs straight: who you told, what you said, and when you might see them again. Optional features may include local reminders, app lock (biometrics or PIN), and export.

The app is a private memory aid only. It does not give legal, relationship, or ethical advice. It does not help you deceive anyone more effectively, and it does not excuse harm.

Acceptable use

Use Little Fibs only for small, harmless social fibs. You must not use the app to hide, plan, or facilitate abuse, fraud, crime, harassment, or anything that hurts someone.

If a situation needs honesty, safety, or professional help, this app is the wrong tool. Get human help where needed. In the UK you can contact Samaritans (116 123) or Refuge’s National Domestic Abuse Helpline (0808 2000 247).

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the app. The app is intended for personal adult use. If store rules or local law require a higher age, those rules apply.

Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial personal use, subject to these terms and any applicable App Store or Google Play terms.

We own the app, name, branding, and original character art. You keep ownership of the content you enter. You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app except as allowed by law. You must not use the app for unlawful purposes.

Your responsibilities

Purchases

Optional paid features (for example Pro) may be sold through App Store or Google Play. Billing, refunds, and subscriptions (if any) are handled by the store under their terms. We do not receive your payment card details.

Third parties

App Store and Google Play distribution, billing (if any), and device OS features (notifications, biometrics, secure storage) are governed by those providers’ terms and privacy policies. We do not control their services.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that entries, reminders, lock, or export will be complete, timely, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including social consequences of fibs you tell, incorrect entries, reminder failures, data loss on your device, failed exports, or misuse of the app contrary to these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Nothing limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of £0 (if you paid us nothing for the app) or the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and availability

We may update the app or these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app without notice where reasonably necessary.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using the app.

Severability and entire agreement

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the app, and replace any earlier understandings on the same subject.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring mandatory consumer claims in your local courts where the law requires.
