Little Fibs

Privacy policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026 · UK

Little Fibs (“the app”) is a private, on-device journal. This policy explains what data is involved and how it is handled. See also our terms and conditions.

Who we are

The app is published by LukeDev.co.uk. Contact: contact@lukedev.co.uk.

Data we store

Fib entries, people labels, optional reminders, and app settings are stored only on your device (local SQLite and device settings). We do not operate an account system and we do not run a cloud backend for core use.

If you set an app PIN, a salted hash of that PIN is stored in the device secure store. We do not receive your PIN. Biometric unlock uses the operating system and stays on device. Optional background re-lock keeps the ledger closed when you leave the app.

Data we collect

For normal use we collect no personal data off your device. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no tracking of you across apps or websites.

Optional export

If you choose to export your data (where that feature is available), the export file is created on your device and shared only by you through the system share sheet. An optional passphrase wrap is applied locally before sharing. We do not receive a copy of the export or the passphrase.

Permissions

Children

Little Fibs is intended for adults aged 16 and over. It is not directed at children under 16.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Because core data never leaves your device, you control it directly: edit or delete entries in the app, or uninstall the app to remove local data. For privacy questions, email contact@lukedev.co.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes will be reflected in the Play Store listing where required.
